Job Title: Consumer Loan Processor
Division/Department: Consumer Lending
Reports to: Consumer Loan Processing Manager
 Full-time
 Non-Exempt
Job Summary: Builds and maintains successful member relationships by funding and servicing loans to member’s complete satisfaction. Provide exceptional member service to members and internal staff at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed established sales and service goals as defined by management. Must actively look for opportunities to increase loan volume and new accounts, ancillary products and services.
• Respond to members requests, problems, and complaints and direct member to proper person for specific information and assistance.
• Effectively cross-sells all third party loan products and services; participates in achieving established service and productivity goals.
• Must have thorough understanding of the Credit Union’s Consumer Lending Policies and Procedures; good working knowledge of Members First Mortgage Program.
• Maintain and follow up pending loan applications to assure completeness and timelines of processing and funding loans. Ensure quick turnaround of loan applications.
• Uphold the compliance requirement of all related federal regulations, including but not limited to; the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures. Complete annual BSA training requirements as established by SunWest Credit Union.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent with required member service training. Includes formal and on the job training.
• Driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of Credit Union loan services, policies, procedures and consumer lending practices.
• Understanding of Credit Union Philosophy.
• Excellent computer efficiency (MS Office/Word/Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to operate PC and other computer systems and software, including office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productive standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
