Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Oro Valley, AZ where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Physical therapists examine each individual and develop treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. State licensure is required in each state in which a physical therapist practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Arizona Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities as needed (floating required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital-based physical therapy experience.
• Experience with inpatient documentation and interdisciplinary care rounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800 - 1630.
• Workdays: Monday through Friday.
• Weekend coverage: 2–3 weekends per month.
• Floating to sister facilities is required.
