Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to serve as a key resource in the repair and maintenance of production equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems. The role involves tracking and updating preventive maintenance plans, participating in the deployment and optimization of automated production lines, and adhering strictly to safety regulations and equipment operation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment such as pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems.
• Track and update preventive maintenance plans for equipment.
• Participate actively in the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of automated production lines.
• Follow and implement preventive maintenance programs for various equipment.
• Apply safety regulations and adhere to equipment operation procedures and work methods.

Essential Skills

• Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency in production supervision, including lockout and tag out procedures.
• Skill in PLC troubleshooting, starting with safety checks and examining power supply, wiring, and physical hardware.
• Experience as an electromechanical technician with a systematic approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Completed training in electromechanics (DEP or DEC).

Work Environment

The role requires the ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb portable ladders. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are necessary. The use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ 85212.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
