Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• A minimum of three (3) years on-the-job experience.
• NATE certification is preferred, but not required.
• EPA Certification.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC units, including electronic and mechanical components
• Knowledge of how light commercial heaters, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment operate and function.
• Explaining maintenance procedures to customers and providing recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
• Operates a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments
• Conserve, install, and recycle CFC and HCFC (Chlorofluorocarbon family) refrigerants
• Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components
• Comply with the standards for HVAC systems as dictated by the State in which the work is being done.
• Mentor and train less-experienced team members.
• Solid communication and excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and work plans.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls.
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
