Job Summary

We are seeking a French Bilingual CSR for a temp-to-hire customer service opportunity in the insurance industry. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and communicating clearly in both French and English.

As a French Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will support customers, insurance agents, and brokers by answering questions, confirming information, responding to requests, and accurately entering data into an insurance-tracking system. This is a service-focused call center role with no outbound sales calls.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive inbound customer calls, answer questions, and provide timely problem resolution.
- Make outbound calls to insurance agents and brokers to confirm policy or account-related information.
- Respond to customer correspondence and information requests by email.
- Enter and update information accurately in an insurance-tracking database.
- Build product knowledge to clearly explain product features and service details.
- Complete additional customer support and administrative duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $40,000 to $50,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Handle inbound customer service calls in a professional call center environment.
- Confirm insurance-related information with agents and brokers by phone.
- Respond to customer and business correspondence by email.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry in an insurance-tracking database.

- Bilingual communication skills in French and English.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service, call center, or client care experience.
- Strong typing skills with 7,000 KPH alphanumeric typing ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering customer or insurance information.
- Ability to learn product features and explain information clearly to customers.
- Professional, patient, and solutions-oriented approach to customer support.
- Comfortable working in a service-focused role with no outbound sales calls.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in the insurance industry or with insurance-related customer inquiries.
- Experience using customer service systems, CRM platforms, or tracking databases.
- Prior experience communicating with insurance agents, brokers, or policyholders.
