2nd Shift TIG Welder – Production Line (Mesa, AZ)
Schedule: Mon–Thurs, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM (10% shift diff)
OT: Mandatory Fridays
Bonus: $500 retention bonus at 90 days
Role OverviewJoin a high‑speed, air‑conditioned manufacturing environment performing TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless‑steel pipe . This is a production‑line welding role , focused on maintaining takt time, cycle time, and consistent weld quality—not custom fabrication.
What You’ll Do- TIG weld black carbon steel and stainless‑steel pipe (up to 8").
- Weld flanges, elbows, and compressor connections .
- Perform root, fill, and cap passes.
- Prep materials: grinding, beveling, cleaning .
- Maintain weld quality on a moving production line .
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Proven TIG experience with carbon steel, stainless, and dissimilar metals .
- Strong pipe prep and fit‑up skills.
- Ability to work fast while maintaining quality.
- Understanding of takt time / cycle time .
- Experience in production or line‑based welding .

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
