Job Description

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for assisting the manager of Maintenance in performing routine building maintenance tasks. This includes performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on buildings, equipment, and grounds as required. Tasks involve maintenance of HVAC systems, motors, fans, compressors, capacitors, and AC filters, as well as performing minor painting, carpentry, masonry work, plumbing maintenance, and electrical maintenance. The technician will inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions, and identify needed repairs, making notes and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Replace drains and faucets.
• Repair HVAC issues, including motors, belts, compressors, and capacitors.
• Fix building damages or faulty building equipment.
• Assist with wiring and troubleshooting.
• Proficiently use power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or construction.
• Must have a GED or high school diploma.
• HVAC and other trade certifications are a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift in a warehouse environment (Certification provided on-site).
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, carry, bend, and kneel.

Work Environment

The Facilities Technician will work in a dynamic environment where they will utilize various tools and equipment. The role may require lifting, carrying, bending, and kneeling. The company provides forklift operation certification on-site.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
