Job Title: Automotive Painter Position: Full-time, commission Location: Phoenix, AZ Start Date: ASAP About Us: Courtesy Automotive Group is a family-owned and operated dealership proudly serving our community since 1955. Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing repaired vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, priming, and taping.
• Mix and match paint colors to factory specifications.
• Apply paint using spray guns and other tools with precision and consistency.
• Read and interpret repair estimates and work orders accurately.
• Ensure a high-quality finish that meets dealership and customer standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store materials and tools.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team members and leadership to meet deadlines.
• Perform quality checks before and after paint application.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an automotive painter in a body shop or collision repair setting.
• Bilingual preferred
• Ability to read and understand repair estimates and work orders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality results.
• Familiarity with paint mixing systems and refinishing equipment.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
• Certifications (I-CAR, ASE, PPG, etc.) are a plus, but not required.
