This diverse and dynamic group collaborates closely with one another and our customers to implement and optimize Nutanix solutions. Together, we provide the technical expertise, guidance, and support necessary for our customers to maximize the benefits of both Nutanix and VMware technologies, ensuring their success and satisfaction. You will report to the Global Director of Migration and Transformation. The work setup for this position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. While much of your collaboration and responsibilities can be managed from home, we do require that you come into the office for in-person engagements as needed. Additionally, the role may involve travel up to 70%, providing opportunities to meet with clients and engage with team members across various locations. **Your Role** + Lead migration discovery, planning, and scoping efforts for Nutanix's largest customers ensuring successful IT migration and business transformation outcomes + Function as technical subject matter expert and team lead for large scale and complex migration efforts + Lead billable project engagements, ensuring successful completion and customer satisfaction. + Conduct interactive workshops with clients to showcase Nutanix products and their benefits. + Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements for designing business aligned, secure, scalable hybrid cloud solutions. + Design and implement network, virtualization, and application strategies. + Provide pre-sales support as a subject matter expert to facilitate the sales and services scoping process. + Develop comprehensive documentation, toolkits, and best practices to enhance team knowledge and resources. + Achieve first-year objectives by actively engaging clients and contributing to solution designs and whitepapers. + Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team and among clients. **What You Will Bring** + Minimum 5 years of experience in hybrid cloud network and virtualization architecture. + Experience as technical lead planning and executing datacenter scale technology migrations. + Strong experience in a wide array of virtualization, storage, networking, and operating system technologies. + Strong experience in supporting datacenter infrastructure for high performance, multi-tier, database, and business critical applications. + Proven history of working in regulated environments and managing change control processes. + Experience developing automation to accelerate migration efforts and adapting existing automation to new platforms. + Expertise in network technologies, including ingress/egress, proxies, load balancing, and overlays. + Proven cloud proficiency in designing and deploying VMs, storage, networking, and databases. + Experience managing Layer 4 firewalls with knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design and operations. + Familiarity with Azure and AWS networking concepts, and best practices. + Exceptional communication skills, capable of whiteboarding solutions and creating comprehensive documentation. + Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. + CCNA, VCAP, NCX or comparable experience preferred. + Ability to complete NCX certification within 12-months of hire. **Work Arrangement** Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 160,000 and USD $ 320,400 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
