The Outreach Education Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing educational programs and community outreach initiatives. This role focuses on building partnerships, increasing public awareness, and delivering impactful educational experiences that align with the organization’s mission and goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Development & Delivery
- Design and implement educational programs, workshops, digital, and events for diverse audiences.
- Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate outreach activities to promote programs and services.
- Communication & Marketing
- Develop promotional materials with the marketing department and manage social media campaigns for educational initiatives.
- Represent the organization at community events and conferences.
- Evaluation & Reporting
- Monitor program effectiveness through feedback and data analysis.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2–4 years of experience in educational programming or community outreach.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.
- Valid Driver’s License or other form of Real ID
- Must be able to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card during background check process. (Required)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competence, especially in serving LGBTQ+ and diverse communities.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and adult learning principles.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Compensation/ Benefits/Total Rewards:
- Salary Range $46,000-$52,000
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, eligible on the first day of the month following your start date.
- Company-Paid Life Insurance Policy of $50,000.
- Company Paid Parental Leave
- Additional optional benefits such as: Voluntary Life/AD&D, Accident, Cancer Protection, Hospital, and Short-Term Disability Insurance.
- 403(b) Plan with a 3% company match, eligible after first pay period.
- 120 hours of Vacation time, 4.62 hours accrued bi-weekly starting date of hire. Available to use after the first day of employment.
- 1 week, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave accrued bi-weekly starting date of hire. Available to use after the first day of employment.
- 9 annual paid holidays.
- You are also entitled to carry over 80 hours of PTO into the following calendar year.
