Project Coordinator / Assistant
Tempe, AZ | On-Site
A well-established general contractor and construction management firm in the Tempe, AZ is seeking a Project Coordinator to support its construction team across high-quality hotel, retail, and commercial projects.
This role plays a key part in supporting Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents by keeping projects organized, on track, and moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and communication to ensure timely and accurate project flow
- Support pre-construction coordination and project setup
- Create, organize, and maintain project files (physical and electronic)
- Assist with contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
- Track and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation
- Coordinate certificates of insurance and subcontractor documentation
- Support scheduling, reporting, and internal communication across the project team
- Assist with permits, inspections, and compliance documentation
What You Bring
- 4+ years experience in a construction support or administrative role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude, along with maturity and dependability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the construction industry
- Procore experience is preferred
- Knowledge of AIA contracts and forms
Additional Information
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
