Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Job Description Key Responsibilities Shipping Operations Prepare and process domestic and international shipments, including documentation for customs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export declarations. Select carriers, schedule pickups, and ensure compliance with all international trade and shipping regulations. Coordinate freight forwarding, track shipments, and resolve transit issues proactively. Receiving Operations Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, parts, and equipment against purchase orders and packing slips. Accurately log receipts into Epicor ERP, route materials to appropriate departments, and report any discrepancies. Inventory & Documentation Maintain accurate records in Epicor for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions. Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of products according to safety and quality standards. Assist with periodic inventory counts and cycle counting activities. Compliance & Safety Adhere to all import/export compliance regulations including ITAR, EAR, and other applicable laws. Follow company safety protocols, proper lifting techniques, and material handling procedures. Skills and Requirements Qualifications Required: 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proven experience with international shipping processes and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Epicor ERP for inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions.
