Your Mission: The Director of Sales Strategy is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of sales processes, reporting, and training across Sun Health's portfolio of communities. This role partners directly with the Vice President of Sales to translate organizational goals into actionable strategies that drive occupancy, revenue growth, and team performance. The Director of Sales Strategy serves as the operational backbone of the sales function-overseeing pipeline management, sales standards, CRM accuracy, and incentive implementation-while collaborating closely with marketing, design, and operations to align initiatives and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution & Performance
- Monitor and manage sales performance across all communities to ensure occupancy and move-in goals are achieved.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews with sales teams; reinforce consistent inquiry handling, discovery, touring, follow-up, and closing practices.
- Audit and oversee CRM (WelcomeHome) data to ensure accuracy and effective use across communities.
Training & Development
- Develop and deliver ongoing training programs for Directors of Sales and sales associates, focusing on sales cycle effectiveness and conversion improvement.
- Create and implement sales scripts, role-play exercises, and best practices for lead management.
- Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and shadowing to elevate team performance.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and analyze reports on occupancy, conversion ratios, inquiry volume, and sales activity.
- Provide VP of Sales with accurate, actionable insights to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.
- Track key performance metrics at each stage of the sales funnel (inquiry → tour → deposit → move-in).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to align campaigns, direct mail, eblasts, and events with sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Design and Operations to ensure unit readiness, model presentation, and move-in timelines support sales efforts.
- Support professional referral outreach by equipping sales teams with consistent messaging and tools.
Sales Incentives & Tools
- Implement and communicate sales incentive programs to ensure team alignment and motivation.
- Ensure adoption and effective use of sales tools such as MoneyGauge and OneDay.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership or strategy experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
- Demonstrated success in training, coaching, and leading sales teams to achieve measurable results.
- Experience with CRM data entry and reporting required.
- Experience with rollout and adoption of sales incentives, campaigns, and tools required.
- Strong analytical skills; experience in CRM reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence without direct authority.
- Required to possess a current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or can obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
