Verde Canyon Railroad in Clarkdale, AZ is looking for one seasonal Elves to join our team for the Magical Christmas Journey!
Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. Elves must always be smiling and make eye contact with whomever they come in contact with. No hanging around with other elves. Engage passengers and children, especially at the depot and the train. Elves will accompany Santa on the train and interact with every interested child. Elves are also staged at the "North Pole" and will be dancing and in character there as well. No cell phone use or eating/drinking (except water) while in character. The goal is to make the Magical Christmas Journey a first class holiday experience for every passenger!
Requirements:Qualifications
Must remain cheerful and in character at all times. Elves will be in extreme temperatures at times. Mandatory meetings prior to the event will be required. Must be able to get on/off the train. Must be at least 16 years of age. The season will run from the end of November through the end of the year.
Requires open availability on all Magical Christmas Journey scheduled train days as well as rehearsals.
