RV Paint and Body Service Advisor

The RV Paint and Body Service Advisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to RV owners who require paint and body repair services. The role involves managing the repair process, from initial assessment and estimation through to final delivery of the repaired RV, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide advice on the most appropriate paint and body repair services
  • Inspect and assess the damage to the RV and provide accurate and detailed estimates of repair costs
  • Liaise with insurance companies and adjusters to ensure proper documentation and claims processing
  • Schedule repairs and manage the repair process, communicating with customers throughout to provide updates and manage expectations
  • Work collaboratively with the RV service team to ensure timely completion of repairs and quality control
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets the customer's expectations
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to repairs, invoices, and customer interactions
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and clean work environment, including following safety procedures and guidelines
  • Keep up to date with industry developments and trends in the paint and body repair industry to maintain expertise and knowledge.
  • Maintain other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the RV paint and body industry, including estimating and scheduling repairs, and working with insurance companies and adjusters
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize competing demands effectively
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to provide detailed estimates and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard
  • Knowledge of RV repair industry standards, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to use computer programs, such as estimating software, email, and scheduling tools
  • Valid driver's license

Working Conditions

  • This job may require standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • The work environment may be noisy and include exposure to fumes, dust, and other hazards associated with working in a service department.
  • The position may require working weekends or holidays depending on customer demand
