Java Bigdata Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Bigdata Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. This role requires strong experience with Big Data tools while driving platform development and mentoring teams through both greenfield and brownfield projects .

Rate Range: $41/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Bigdata Developer job responsibilities include:

• Deliver end‑to‑end software solutions from design and development to deployment in production environments.

• Implement and optimize Big Data pipelines using Java 8/17 and modern Big Data tools to support large‑scale data processing.

• Work across greenfield and brownfield projects, contributing technical expertise and innovative problem-solving.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Shape and enhance the platform architecture by applying strong engineering judgment and best practices.

• Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical growth and promoting high‑quality coding standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, Big Data frameworks, and distributed systems.

• Proven expertise in designing and deploying scalable Big Data solutions for enterprise‑level clients.

• Strong ability to collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high‑quality technical solutions .

Pay Details: $41.00 to $47.00 per hour
