What You'll Do:

• Provide Compassionate Spiritual Care: Offer direct spiritual support to patients and families, ensuring their emotional and spiritual needs are met during their hospice journey.

• Collaborate with an Expert Team: Work alongside an interdisciplinary team, providing consultation and guidance on spiritual care practices and ensuring holistic support for every individual.

• Lead Meaningful Memorials & Services: Conduct funeral and memorial services, offering families the comfort of closure and remembrance.

• Guide Grief Support: Coordinate a comprehensive bereavement program, offering grief counseling, resources, and ongoing support for families up to 13 months after the loss of their loved one.

• Build Community Connections: Foster relationships with community chaplains, spiritual counselors, and volunteers, expanding our reach and ensuring that all spiritual care needs are met.

What We're Looking For:

• Passion for Service: Experience working with patients and families, especially those facing end-of-life care.

• Spiritual Leadership: Graduate of an accredited seminary or theology school (BD, M.Div. or equivalent) and licensed or ordained minister. Hospice experience is a plus.

• Cultural Sensitivity: Comfortable working in an interfaith setting, respecting all lifestyles, cultures, and beliefs.

• Team Player: Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, volunteers, and community partners.
