Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: N. Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annually
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree

Position Summary:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and maintaining financial accuracy across multiple accounts. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in supporting financial operations by managing vendor payments, reconciling transactions, and ensuring timely processing of invoices.

Primary Duties:

• Process and verify invoices across various vendors and entities

• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end close

• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain professional relationships

• Support general accounting tasks including transaction entry and account maintenance

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth payment workflows

• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely execution of financial tasks

• Assist with administrative duties related to finance and accounting

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years experience in accounts payable or general accounting

• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar

• Experience with electronic payment systems like Bill.com is a plus

• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
