Shift: Monday to Friday – Day Shift

Housing: Provided – Located Directly Across the Street from Hospital

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a respected hospital in Peridot, AZ for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in hospital pharmacy and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a rural community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and dispense medications for inpatients in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
Ensure accurate medication preparation, labeling, and delivery.
Conduct medication therapy reviews and monitor patient outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff on medication management and patient care plans.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations and safety standards.
Participate in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and checking for expired drugs.
Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff and patients as needed.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility for reciprocal licensing).
Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
1-2 years of hospital inpatient experience preferred.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Strong communication and clinical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
