The Opportunity:

At Frost, ourAccounting Services Staffare expertly equipped to handle all accounting needs for small to medium-sized businessesthatpartner with Frost PLLC for their accounting services. These professionals are self-motivated multitaskers with top-notch communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Tech-savviness is also a plus, withproficiencyin applications such as Microsoft Excel or QuickBooks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate an understanding of fundamental principles offull-cycle accounting duties.

• Preparejournal entries forclientaccounts.

• Codeand enter vendor expensesfor client accounts.

• Reconcilebank statementsand general ledgerfor client accounts.

• Process employee timesheets andmanagethe client payroll system.

• Prepare sales tax for payment and monthly sales tax reports.

• Preparepersonal propertytax statements.

• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.

• Invoiceclients and customers.

• Process accounts receivablefor client accounts.

• Ableto work with confidentialityfor client information.

• Provideresearch support to a transaction review process.

• Preparemonthly and quarterlyfinancial statementsinatimelyand efficient basis.

• Preparethecompleted trial balance, includingappropriate supportingdocumentation.

• Analyzeandidentifyclient errors, preparejournal entries to correct, general ledgerreconciliationand financial statementsfor client-prepared bookkeeping.

• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.

• Alwaysmaintainattention to detail and professionalism.

• Exhibit a desire to understand business transactions and related issues.

• Ability to travel to localclients,when needed.

• Provide preliminary review ofAccounting Services Staff Iwork.

• Provide initial trainingand mentorship/supporttoAccounting Services Staff.

• Responsible for client life cycle frominitialsetuptoday -to-daycommunication.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At leastthreeyears ofbookkeepingandgeneral ledger experience.

• Accountingdegreeis preferred.

• In-depth knowledge ofQuickBooks (online or desktop).

• QuickBooks Certification, preferred.

• Advancedunderstandingof Microsoft Office Suite(including Word,Outlookand Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.

• Ability to build andmaintainrelationships with clients.

• Ability to work on-sitepreferred.

What can you expect?

• Initial phone screening of qualified candidates.
• Panel interview with a member of Human Resources and partners who this position will interact with for candidates who advance frominitialphone screen.
• Secondary panel interview with member of the team this position will be working with for those who advance from the first panel interview.
