Vaco is seeking an Accounting Manager in Mesa, Arizona!

Responsibilities include:
• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Manage daily accounting activities including AP, AR, and weekly payroll
• Prepare and review financial statements and related reporting
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including a team located in Tucson
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Reconcile and manage data between accounting and operational systems
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support audit requirements and serve as a key resource to the Controller

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required)
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience (Required)
• Experience supervising and developing accounting staff (Required)
• Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting (Required)
• Experience supervising and developing accounting staff (Required)
• Construction accounting experience, including WIP/Percentage of Completion (Preferred)
• Ability to go on site 3x a week after training
• Salary $115-130k Bonus
