Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Arizona
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA required
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
• Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in diverse student populations
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups, addressing articulation, language, voice, fluency, and pragmatic language concerns
• Document progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
• Offer ongoing consultation and support to teachers and family members to facilitate the generalization of skills across environments
• Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements within a school setting
