Facility Care and Support staff
Summary The Erik Hite Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on the support of the
families of the first responders and military members in our community. Our main
program is the Child Development Center that serves these families with affordable fees
and flexible hours. We are committed to partnering with families to provide the best care
and beginning education for the children of our heroes. We want to serve and care for
their families following godly principles close to the heart of Erik, as these men and
women serve and protect our community. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children, staff, and visitors at our childcare facility. The Cleaner will support daily cleaning tasks and ensure the facility meets health and safety standards. Duties
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, floors, and restrooms
- Sanitize toys, play equipment, and sleeping areas
- Maintain cleanliness in outdoor play areas
- Assisting teachers as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines using non-toxic cleaning products
- Respond to spills, accidents, and maintain emergency cleanliness
- 21 years old and up
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in childcare or similar settings
- Knowledge of safe, child-friendly cleaning products
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Fingerprint Clearance : Must obtain fingerprint clearance from the state of Arizona
- TB Test required
- Experience in a childcare environment
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Competitive hourly pay rate depending on experience
