Field Safety Manager
to support a high-voltage
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
construction project in
Tonopah, AZ
Monday, October 13th. This is an immediate opportunity with
competitive pay ($47–$50/hour)
and per diem (TBD).

Our Expectations:

Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role. First, they operate in a consultative capacity—providing expert guidance, mentorship, and motivation to operations management and field personnel. Second, they act as
hands-on partners
in the delivery of proactive safety initiatives that drive a culture of excellence on-site.

This project will require both field-level engagement and technical oversight, particularly during
energization, battery installation, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce site-specific health and safety programs compliant with OSHA 1926 and NFPA 70E

• Support energization and commissioning activities of lithium-ion battery storage systems

• Manage LOTO protocols, high-voltage hazard controls, and confined space entry

• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans

• Conduct daily safety audits, toolbox talks, and documentation of safety observations

• Participate in pre-construction planning and weekly project meetings

• Ensure alignment with client safety expectations and ProSafe’s high standards

• Serve as safety liaison between field crews, subcontractors, and site management

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of safety experience
  in
  high-voltage renewable construction, preferably including
  BESS projects

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
  certification (Required)

• Current CPR/First Aid certification
  (Required)

• CHST
  and
  NFPA 70E
  (Preferred)

• Candidates with strong field experience will be considered, even without active credentials
