Event & Sales Specialist
This is a remote position.
In just two years, we’ve built remarkable momentum and are expanding rapidly. Our values are rooted in service, integrity, and growth — and we’re passionate about helping our clients succeed by pairing them with the right talent. Now, we’re looking for an ambitious professional to join our U.S.-based internal team and help us grow even further.
The Role
We’re seeking a full-time Event & Sales Specialist to support our VP of Growth in driving sales and building brand visibility at national healthcare, rehabilitation, and physical therapy industry events.
This person will be both the face of Virtual Rockstar at events and a key player in the sales pipeline, vetting potential new partners, managing discovery calls, and ensuring strong cultural and business alignment before onboarding.
It’s the perfect role for a highly organized, outgoing professional who thrives on travel, relationship building, and driving measurable results.
Responsibilities
Event Coordination & Representation
Travel regularly to industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events nationwide.
Oversee booth setup, branding, and onsite deliverables, ensuring a professional and engaging presence.
Represent Virtual Rockstar with energy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of our mission and services.
Sales & Discovery Calls
Conduct initial sales conversations and discovery calls with potential partners.
Assess prospective clients for cultural alignment and business fit with Virtual Rockstar’s model.
Support the VP of Growth in moving qualified leads through the sales pipeline.
CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain and update our CRM system (Zoho experience a plus) to track leads, contacts, and opportunities.
Ensure all event leads are entered, followed up on, and nurtured appropriately.
Collaboration & Execution
Partner closely with the VP of Growth on sales strategies, event logistics, and departmental priorities.
Assist with preparation of sales materials, presentations, and post-event follow-up strategies.
Execute assigned departmental tasks with accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or event coordination (internships and relevant entry-level roles considered).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in engaging with new people.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfort with frequent travel and working independently while on the road.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Zoho experience a plus).
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow with a fast-scaling startup.
Benefits
Competitive full-time salary package.
Frequent travel and networking opportunities at major industry events.
Hands-on experience in both sales and event management.
Professional growth and advancement opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.
A chance to work with a supportive, dynamic team that values innovation and service above all else.
