Staff Accountant

Job Description

This entry-level role is designed to grow with you. As our finance team expands, you’ll be well-positioned to advance into leadership roles such as Accounting Manager , Accounts Payable Manager , or FP&A Manager . With strong performance and alignment to our vision, you’ll be first in line for these opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the accounts payable process, including entering appraisal invoices into BILL.com
• Post daily mortgage funding and purchase transactions to maintain accurate financial records
• Assist with month-end account reconciliations
• Learn and navigate internal systems and workflows, becoming a key contributor to our financial operations

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in mortgage accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite (certification preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Commitment to confidentiality , integrity , and professionalism
• Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and delegate when needed
• Excellent analytical , critical thinking , and problem-solving skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
