Job Overview:
The Commercial Loan Closing Specialist 2 will support day-to-day operations within commercial lending as the organization transitions systems from AFS to LoanIQ. This role involves booking and funding commercial loans, responding to requests from other lines of business, and facilitating money movement activities. The candidate will also help reduce the learning curve for LoanIQ adoption among staff while production continues.

Responsibilities:

• Book and fund commercial loans in LoanIQ.
• Respond to requests from other lines of business to post funds in internal systems and handle money movement activities.
• Assist in reducing the learning curve for LoanIQ adoption among staff.
• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Commercial Loan Closing.
• Review and analyze basic or tactical Commercial Loan Closing assignments or challenges requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives.
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to client personnel in Commercial Loan Closing.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in LoanIQ.
• Experience in commercial loans booking and funding operations.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan credit agreements.
• Knowledge of AFS is a plus but not required.
• 2+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Pay Range: $31- $33 - Hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
