Cantina Gueros is seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant both culturally and financially, delivering great guest experiences, and building an even more expansive guest-base . Our ideal GM is both a culture-builder and an operational expert-someone who excels at guest hospitality, team development, financial performance, and maintaining Westside Concepts' standards of excellence.
You will be responsible for all day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring Cantina Gueros remains a place where guests feel connected, welcomed, and wowed-and where team members feel supported, motivated, and proud to work.
Your Duties Will Include Leadership & Guest ExperienceDeliver exceptional hospitality and ensure unforgettable guest experiences
Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, and the community
Act as a role model for professionalism, positivity, and Westside Concepts' values
Cultivate an environment of teamwork, communication, and accountability
- Working side-by-side with Kitchen Manager to achieve cultural and financial goals
Ensure operational systems and SOPs are followed consistently
Maintain food, beverage, and service quality standards
Oversee cleanliness, safety, and atmosphere throughout the restaurant
Responsible cash and card handling
Maintain product freshness, consistency, and presentation standards
Achieve and maintain food, beverage, and labor cost goals
Ensure accuracy in ordering, inventory, forecasting, and reporting
Manage scheduling to support service, labor efficiency, and quality of life
Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies to strengthen performance
Interview, hire, train, and develop team members for growth
Create a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Coach and mentor managers and staff through daily operations
Hold team members accountable in a supportive, growth-focused way
Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
Other duties as assigned to support the restaurant's success
Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Experience with team leadership, performance management, and guest recovery
Familiarity with financial metrics, cost control, and operational best practices
Friendly, warm, and approachable personality
Always ready to lead with a smile
Positive, can-do attitude and reliable work ethic
Ability to think and act quickly in fast-paced situations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with service needs when required
