Cantina Gueros is seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant both culturally and financially, delivering great guest experiences, and building an even more expansive guest-base . Our ideal GM is both a culture-builder and an operational expert-someone who excels at guest hospitality, team development, financial performance, and maintaining Westside Concepts' standards of excellence.

You will be responsible for all day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring Cantina Gueros remains a place where guests feel connected, welcomed, and wowed-and where team members feel supported, motivated, and proud to work.

• Deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure unforgettable guest experiences

• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, team members, and the community

• Act as a role model for professionalism, positivity, and Westside Concepts' values

• Cultivate an environment of teamwork, communication, and accountability

• Working side-by-side with Kitchen Manager to achieve cultural and financial goals

• Ensure operational systems and SOPs are followed consistently

• Maintain food, beverage, and service quality standards

• Oversee cleanliness, safety, and atmosphere throughout the restaurant

• Responsible cash and card handling

• Maintain product freshness, consistency, and presentation standards

• Achieve and maintain food, beverage, and labor cost goals

• Ensure accuracy in ordering, inventory, forecasting, and reporting

• Manage scheduling to support service, labor efficiency, and quality of life

• Analyze key metrics and adjust strategies to strengthen performance

• Interview, hire, train, and develop team members for growth

• Create a positive and inclusive workplace culture

• Coach and mentor managers and staff through daily operations

• Hold team members accountable in a supportive, growth-focused way

• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs

• Other duties as assigned to support the restaurant's success

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment

• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities

• Experience with team leadership, performance management, and guest recovery

• Familiarity with financial metrics, cost control, and operational best practices

• Friendly, warm, and approachable personality

• Always ready to lead with a smile

• Positive, can-do attitude and reliable work ethic

• Ability to think and act quickly in fast-paced situations

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with service needs when required
