Mental Health Therapist - Cleft and Craniofacial Center

Phoenix Children's
Phoenix, AZ
Position Summary Phoenix Children’s Center for Cleft and Craniofacial Care was established more than 30 years ago as the Barrow Cleft and Craniofacial Center. The American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association has approved the Center for Cleft and Craniofacial Care as both a Cleft Palate Team and a Craniofacial Team.

We help patients with facial differences navigate their care. Our craniofacial experts focus on team-centered care for patients with cleft and craniofacial disorders. From physical appearance to emotional coping, our team ensures that all patients get the care they need for every aspect of their condition.

With our team approach to care, patients and families have access to craniofacial experts. We understand how to treat the complexities associated with craniofacial anomalies and are sensitive to the personal nature of these conditions. We provide comprehensive support for lifelong, positive results.

Our Behavioral Health team consists of mental health therapists and social workers. In conjunction with the patient’s medical care, the Mental Health Therapist provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of cognitive, behavioral and/or emotional issues which may arise in relation to the patient’s condition. Parent support is also provided. Phoenix Children’s Standards of Professional Conduct and Competence are expected to be upheld.

This position will be located at the Phoenix Children’s Cleft and Craniofacial Center at St. Joseph’s Campus
