Material Handlers
1st shift: 5:00 AM -2:30 PM
2nd shift 3:30PM - 2AM
Monday-Thursday (Mandatory overtime on Friday when needed)
PAY: $21/hour
Location: El Mirage, AZ
Job Duties:
- Run overhead crane system to handle steel beams, plates and assemblies.
- Handle and move small pieces of steel and shop equipment weighing 10 to 50 pounds.
- Assist with cleaning and painting of steel including handling paint and solvents
- Drive forklift and tractor.
- Load and unload trucks and rail cars utilizing above equipment and systems
- Perform yard and building cleaning tasks and assist in maintenance of building and equipment
Job Requirements:
- Individuals must have adequate strength, mobility, dexterity, vision, hearing and stamina to perform the above tasks with minimal assistance from others
- Be able to follow instructions well and work without constant supervision
- Must be able to work in hot environment.
- Must be able to pass a physical.
- Experience with construction or operating overhead crane
