Per Diem Bariatric Surgeon with Banner University Medical Group - Phoenix, AZ

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Per Diem board-certified Bariatric Surgeon to join our nationally accredited MBSAQIP program. Established in 2015, our program has experienced rapid growth while maintaining a commitment to clinical excellence in treating high-acuity patients, providing exceptional training for residents and medical students, and advancing research in bariatric medicine.

About Our Program

Our comprehensive bariatric surgery program at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix combines academic medicine with patient-centered care. As part of Banner – University Medicine, we offer patients access to cutting-edge treatments and specialized expertise in weight-loss surgery within our 746-bed, Level 1 Trauma facility—recognized as one of America's "Best Hospitals" by U.S. News & World Report.

Successful Applicants Must:

· Demonstrates passionate commitment to excellent care for patients with obesity

· Has exceptional surgical experience and can operate independently

· Holds Board Certification in General Surgery and ASMBS Certification as a Bariatric Surgeon

· Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ

· Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance
