Weekend Grill/Prep Cook - Corporate Dining | Location: Phoenix, AZ 85083

Compensation: $19-$23 per hour| Full-Time

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 6am - 4:30pm (4 X10-hour shifts)

Job Summary

As a Grill/Prep Cook , you'll help bring our scratch-made philosophy to life by preparing fresh ingredients and creating high-quality meals that nourish and delight our guests. Working alongside a collaborative culinary team, you'll ensure every dish is prepared with care, consistency, and a commitment to food safety. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional food and service.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, cook, and serve fresh, scratch-made menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain grill and prep stations for efficient daily operations.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, rotation, and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation standards are met.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Report equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns to leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Passion for cooking and creating high-quality, scratch-made food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and food safety practices.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform the physical demands of the role.
• ServSafe® Certification and/or State Food Handler Card, as required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Physical and Sensory Requirements

• This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
