Your Purpose in this Role

The Preconstruction Coordinator supports the HVAC and Plumbing Preconstruction Team through opportunity tracking, bid administration, proposal coordination, client communication, and document control. The role exists to maximize estimator productivity while ensuring a professional and organized client experience.

Pay

$23.00 - $29.00 hourly based on skills, experience, performance and ongoing training attendance.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage bid invitations, opportunities, and pursuit tracking.
• Maintain preconstruction records in BidTracer and pipeline reporting.
• Review and organize drawings, specifications, phasing plans, schedules, addenda and project documentation as needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors and design teams.
• Compile and coordinate proposal packages and submissions.
• Track meeting action items and follow-up activities.
• Support turnover preparation for awarded projects.
• Help improve estimating tools, templates, historical cost data, scope review standards, and department processes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
• Construction software experience such as Bluebeam and BidTracer.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Multitasking proficiency, including providing estimating support and coordination across multiple deadlines simultaneously.
