Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Equipment Administrator CSR to coordinate equipment requests, track usage, schedule maintenance, and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to manage logistics in a fast-paced construction environment.
Job Description
- Equipment Coordination: Receiving and processing equipment requests from construction teams. This includes scheduling equipment use, ensuring it is available when needed, and managing logistics for delivery and return.
- Equipment Tracking: Maintaining accurate records of equipment location, usage, and maintenance schedules. This may involve using specialized software or databases.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs for construction equipment, working with maintenance teams or external vendors.
- Communication: Communicating equipment availability, maintenance schedules, and any issues to the construction team and other relevant parties. This may involve phone calls, emails, or other communication methods.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory management of equipment, including tracking stock levels, identifying needs for new equipment, and potentially assisting with procurement processes.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs. This may involve creating and managing reports, spreadsheets, or other documentation.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to the construction team, addressing their needs and concerns related to equipment.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues related to equipment availability, maintenance, or usage.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all equipment is used safely and in accordance with safety regulations.
Skills Required
- Technical:
- Proficient computer skills. (Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Pt. View Pt. Oracle). Experience with ToolWatch is a plus.
- Scheduling Appointments
- Vendor Management
- Purchasing/buying experience (1-3 years is preferred)
- Construction Equipment (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Equipment Rental (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Heavy Equipment (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Physical:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to visit onsite field locations with occasional overnight travel-this will be limited.
- Ability to lift 20lbs
- Other:
- Safety, team building, analytical, and interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment.
- Someone with a "take-charge" personality who can show initiative once they learn the role/responsibilities and run with it.

Education/Training/Certifications
- High school Diploma or GED.
Additional Requirements
- Overtime is anticipated for this role.
- Candidate needs to pass drug screening.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Base Compensation: $25/hour (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
