What You Will Accomplish
As a Project Manager at TEPCON Construction, you will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while driving project success, client satisfaction, and company growth.
You will:
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and quality control measures while monitoring project profitability.
- Lead multiple commercial construction, tenant improvement (TI), occupied-space renovation, and ground-up projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, owners, and subcontractors to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project owners and stakeholders, leading meetings and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project financials including subcontractor payments, change orders, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
- Lead project buyout efforts, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, Superintendents, and project teams.
- Review construction documents, specifications, and project requirements to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures.
- Manage permits, inspections, project documentation, and closeout activities efficiently and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, property managers, and trade partners.
- Participate in project interviews, business development efforts, and initiatives that support TEPCONs continued growth.
- Help strengthen TEPCONs reputation as a trusted commercial construction partner known for quality, integrity, and exceptional client service.

What We Would Like You To Have
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
- Experience managing Tenant Improvement (TI), occupied-space renovation, and commercial construction projects.
- Experience managing occupied-space projects while minimizing disruption to building operations, tenants, employees, customers, and ongoing business activities.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience with CMiC, Procore, Foundation, Sage, or similar construction management software.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
- Strong financial management, forecasting, and project reporting experience.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, property managers, and building owners.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
