Project Manager / Estimator

We are seeking a Commercial Asphalt Construction Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead paving and pavement maintenance projects from initial bid preparation through final completion. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for asphalt paving, overlays, sealcoating, striping, and repair scopes.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial paving projects in Phoenix, AZ from contract award through project closeout.
• Schedule and supervise field teams, subcontractors, trucking logistics, and material deliveries.
• Monitor project budgets, production rates, job cost reports, and change order documentation.
• Conduct pre-construction planning meetings and perform routine site visits to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Maintain strict quality control standards and track material usage and crew productivity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear updates on progress, timelines, and scope adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company operating procedures across all job sites.

Requirements

• Proven background in asphalt paving project management and/or commercial estimating.
• In-depth knowledge of asphalt materials, equipment, and paving production processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects without sacrificing quality or timelines.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on scheduling, cost tracking, and operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings, scopes of work, and site layouts.
