Quality Control Supervisor

Location

This position will be primarily based out of our Mesa I facility located at 4712 S Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ 85212. Though pending business needs could slide to other AZ sites.

Position Description

The Quality Control Supervisor is a high-visibility position within Super Radiator Coils that has a direct impact on the growing of the business. The Quality Control Supervisor has the responsibility to support controls of our ISO 9001:2015, ASME VIII-1 and Military quality control programs. This position reports to the Director of Quality – Arizona Division.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of inspectors to ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

2. Develop and implement standardized quality control procedures across all facilities and shifts to ensure consistency and accuracy in inspection processes.

3. Train and mentor inspectors to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality control techniques.

4. Coordinate inspection schedules and resources to meet production demands and ensure timely completion of quality control activities.

5. Monitor production processes at each facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

6. Collaborate with production managers and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement solutions.

7. Conduct regular audits at each facility to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

8. Analyze data from inspection reports to track quality metrics and identify trends across facilities and shifts.

9. Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements that optimize quality and efficiency.

10. Communicate effectively with management and staff at each facility to address quality concerns and drive improvement initiatives.

Position Qualifications

Required -

• Passionate about supporting a leading best-in-class quality organization and promoting a quality culture
• 5+ years of professional work experience in quality/manufacturing/engineering

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time throughout shift.

• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

• Knowledgeable about the importance of quality assurance in manufacturing
• Capable and comfortable handling multiple priorities - balancing urgent tasks with progress on important tasks
• Self-directed and motivated to support the quality needs of a changing and growing business
• Committed to continuing education and training
• Thrives in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and motivation to attend to detailed QA requirements

Must pass medical pre-screen with physical and background check.

• * Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Desired -

• Knowledgeable about metal fabrication and made-to-order custom manufacturing
• Industry experience with heat exchangers or systems that require coils
• History of success in small or mid-sized company
• Proven project management skills.

• Multilingual

English and Spanish are the Arizona team’s top two primary languages. Fluency, consisting of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in both is recommended. Ancillary would be full comprehension in English with base understanding in Spanish while continuing to learn and develop the communication skill set overtime.
