Elite Legal Practice is a national consumer protection firm with the headquarters located in Las Vegas, NV specializing in creditor/collection violations, credit reporting violations, and debt dispute resolution. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Attorney to join our Phoenix office. This role is ideal for an attorney with a passion for consumer protection and a strong interest in regulatory compliance, internal policy development, and risk mitigation.

As a Compliance Attorney, you will play a key role in ensuring our firms practices align with federal and state regulations, including the state bar associate requirements, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other consumer protection laws. Youll collaborate with legal, operations, and marketing teams to maintain ethical standards and support our mission of client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations (FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA etc.)
• Develop and implement internal compliance policies and procedures
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
• Provide compliance training to staff and attorneys
• Review marketing and client communication materials for regulatory accuracy
• Support corporate governance and reporting obligations
• Serve as a resource for legal and operational teams on compliance-related matters

What Were Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 13 years of experience in compliance, regulatory law, or consumer protection (law firm or in-house experience preferred)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (Nevada bar preferred but not required)
• Willingness to work in-office in Phoenix, AZ

While an Arizona bar license is not required, the ideal candidate must report to Phoenix or be willing to relocate to the Phoenix area. There are no billable hours requirement for this position.
