Packaging Supervisor

The Packaging Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day packaging operations for the solar module manufacturing line. The Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of solar modules while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role involves supervising a team of packaging staff, monitoring packaging processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.

Key responsibilities include leading, managing, and motivating the packaging team to achieve daily production targets, assigning tasks and monitoring team performance to ensure packaging operations run smoothly, providing training and guidance to team members on packaging techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards, monitoring and overseeing the daily packaging activities to ensure compliance with production schedules and customer specifications, coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless integration of packaging activities, identifying opportunities to improve packaging efficiency and reduce waste, maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures, monitoring and managing packaging materials inventory to ensure availability and minimize waste, and coordinating with the supply chain team to forecast and requisition packaging materials as required.

Experiences/Education: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience. Supervisory experience highly preferred.

Required skills include outstanding problem solving using rigorous methods and tools, and quality systems and process control techniques.

Desired skills include experience in solar module or wafer manufacturing, experience in glass manufacturing, and Lean Management.

Soft skills include international & multi-culture communication & coordination ability, strong ownership of achieving plant goals, creative and with strong continuous improvement work, excellent presentation and reporting skill, and ability to change the thinking of others to establish long-term behaviors, norms, culture.

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $80,750.00 - $111,031.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
