Procurement Specialist - Scottsdale! POST NUMBER: 475624
Vaco Arizona is hiring a Procurement Specialist for a top company in Scottsdale. This is a fully onsite contract role paying $40/hour. The position supports logistics and warehouse operations through end-to-end purchasing, vendor management, and cost optimization in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods and services to support logistics and warehouse operations
- Source, vet, and manage vendors, carriers, and service providers
- Request quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate cost-effective contracts
- Issue purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services
- Partner with operations and leadership to forecast needs and prevent shortages
- Track supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate purchasing, contract, and vendor records in company systems
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve service levels
- Ensure all purchasing activity follows company policies and contract guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience with IFS software
- 2 years of procurement, purchasing, or buyer experience (any industry)
