Technical Sales Engineer-Southeastern US
- Assist with on-site consultation to drive revenue and margin within the assigned territory.
- Participate in establishing strategies, objectives and sales plans for key accounts/original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
- Contibute to researching market and competitive intelligence; gains understanding of market environment and competitive situations and builds appropriate response plans.
- Aids in defining sales plans for significant growth within various applications and markets
- Meet or exceed key metrics for revenue growth, operating profit, and market share within the region.
- Initiate, maintain and grow relationships with key accounts and ensure effective and constant lead generation; effectively manage and grow the territory sales funnel.
- Oversee sales forcasting and demand management of products within terrority.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in direct technical sales, with a proven track record of increasing sales
- Experienced in working with and/or managing complex global accounts (directly and indirectly) – OEM’s, fabricators, and assemblers
- Experienced in customer relationship management and demand planning processes and tools
- Must be able to communicate fluently in the English language
- Travel: Up to 50%
