Security Branch Manager Operations

Job Title: Branch Manager - Phoenix, Arizona
Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead our security services branch in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving the growth of our branch. Military or law enforcement experience is preferred, and a deep understanding of the security industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Manage and coordinate all branch operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and monitor security protocols and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with local and state regulations.
- Foster a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.
- Create and execute post orders that tailor to client specific needs.
- Overseeing the use, deployment, and evaluation of security technology, such as TrackTik, Samsara, CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems, is vital for effective security Branch.
- Regular maintenance and inspection of security equipment and tools are crucial to ensure they function correctly when needed.
Team Management:
- Interview, train, and develop a high-performing team of security personnel. They must ensure that security staff have the necessary qualifications, licenses, and certifications.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Coordinates and administers the branch “Officer of the Month” program.
- Assist in creating efficient work schedules that provide adequate coverage while considering labor laws and regulations is crucial. This includes assisting in managing shift rotations, overtime, and time-off requests.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance-related issues.
- Implementing quality control measures helps maintain the highest level of security service. This involves regular audits, process improvements, and addressing any non-compliance issues.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their security needs.
- Respond to client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Seek opportunities to up-sell and expand services to existing clients.
- Branch Managers will also oversee and assist with new Job Starts. On-site supervision is critical to ensure that security personnel adhere to established protocols and procedures. Branch Managers may conduct site visits, spot checks, and audits to verify compliance.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and profitability.
- Monitor and control costs, while maximizing revenue.
- Report financial performance to senior management regularly.
- Oversees and approves the expenditure of funds for office supplies and equipment.
Security Expertise:
- Leverage your experience in the security industry to enhance and improve services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Implement changes and improvements based on industry knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably within the security industry.
- Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation:
The Branch Manager position is salaried at $70,000 per year, with potential for performance-based bonuses. In addition to the competitive salary, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
