Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg is needed for a travel assignment in a surgical center setting located in Tuba City, Arizona. The start date is 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift. The weekly pay ranges from $1,860 to $1,908. This role supports adult and geriatric patients with acute or sub-acute needs, providing comprehensive nursing care in a Med/Surg environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting, following physician orders and established standards.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, perform nursing assessments, and document care in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the health care team to coordinate patient care and transitions, while ensuring safety and infection control.
- Perform routine and specialized nursing procedures (vital signs, IV therapy, wound care, pre/postoperative tasks) and assist with procedures as needed.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning support, and referrals to appropriate community resources.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in the United States (any state), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory; must be current, full, and unrestricted.
- BLS and ACLS certifications; Complete TCAR within six months of hire; NIHSS within six months of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute facility.
- Ability to work in a Med/Surg environment within a surgical center; comfortable with 3x12-hour day shifts.
- Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure.
