Psychiatrist Rosewood Ranch Wickenburg, AZ Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Rosewood Ranch located in Wickenburg, AZ. - Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management.
- Maintain current and proper progress notes.
- Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
- Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.
- Answer urgent questions from team when not on-site and/or after hours.
- Average census of 20 clients to see 1-2 times/week.
- Provide Psychiatric Assessments and follow-up medication management visits, participate in treatment team meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff, conduct insurance peer to peer reviews as needed.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred.
- Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible).
- Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful.
- Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed.
