The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-level technology initiatives. This role is ideal for a self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about improving educational outcomes through innovative technology solutions.

You will be instrumental in managing projects related to software development , data visualization , and vendor management , ensuring alignment with ADE's mission to deliver world-class online educational experiences for Arizona's K-12 community.

• Lead medium to large-scale software development projects from initiation to completion.
• Apply Agile methodologies to ensure flexible and collaborative project execution.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders clearly and consistently.
• Develop and implement data strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead data and business intelligence teams to extract actionable insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
• Adapt to changes in government policy and project requirements with composure and strategic thinking.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing medium to large software development projects.
• Strong understanding of IT project management principles and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau .
• Agile Certification .
• Lean Six Sigma Certification .
• PMP Certification .

• Candidates must be local to Arizona and available for in-person interviews .
