Job Summary
- Greet and check in patients; process intake paperwork
- Pre-prep the providers note using new patient paperwork
- Prepare for patient visits, including pulling charts and notes beforehand
- Enter medications, allergies, and relevant history into the patient chart
- Check for prior imaging and upload results into the EHR
- Request and follow up on cardiac clearances
- Take and record vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations or procedures (e.g., positioning, explaining steps)
- Assist providers with basic medical care and procedures
- Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care
- Answer phones and emails; field medical questions and patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
- Call/send in prescriptions
- Perform general medical office duties
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Set up medical equipment before patient visits
- Clean instruments and exam rooms after use
- Manage and restock supply inventory
- Full-time : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Willing to work occasional Saturdays , as needed
- Must be willing to travel to other office locations as needed
- BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
