Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the uping school year in a K-12 school located in Amado, AZ. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide vital psychological services within a dynamic educational environment, supporting students academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to identify students learning needs and challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expert remendations
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state and federal guidelines
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate through consultation and training
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Arizona or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education law, and behavioral interventions
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize duties effectively
