Payroll Specialist POST NUMBER: 151022

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top company in Phoenix to hire a Payroll Specialist. This is a direct-hire, onsite opportunity offering up to $30/hour. The ideal candidate will have experience processing high-volume, full-cycle payroll and Excel skills. Responsibilities: Process high-volume, full-cycle payroll while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely employee payments. Review and validate employee time records, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payroll for processing. Process off-cycle payroll transactions, including final paychecks, retroactive pay, corrections, and one-time payments. Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, tax forms, personnel changes, and wage updates. Prepare certified payroll reports and assist with payroll tax payments, garnishments, ACH returns, and account reconciliations. Review and process employee expense reimbursements and payroll adjustments. Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner. Generate payroll reports, support ad hoc requests, and identify opportunities to improve payroll processes. Qualifications: 3 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
