• Job Title: Sustainability Program Manager

• Location: TSMC Arizona site

• Department: Operations & EHS

• Reports To: Sr. Operations Manager

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Pay Scale: $60,000–$70,000

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role

The Sustainability Program Manager is the driving force behind our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Waste & Recycling programs on-site. As a Sustainability Program Manager , you'll lead from the front-owning program performance, supporting your team, and ensuring every initiative aligns with Verde Clean's commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.

What You'll DoProgram Leadership & Supervision

As a Sustainability Program Manager , you will:

• Lead and support a team of EHS and Recycling Technicians (3 team members)

• Coordinate daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members while driving accountability and performance

• Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Safety & Compliance Coordination

The Sustainability Program Manager plays a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant site:

• Manage and support safety and compliance documentation

• Serve as the primary point of contact for ISEP coordination

• Assist with preparation and review of:

  • Pre-Job Work Plans

  • Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)

  • Required site documentation and approvals

• Coordinate OAM submissions and client-required documentation

• Support incident investigations and contribute to after-action reporting

Waste & Recycling Program Management

• Own and manage the site's waste diversion program

• Track key metrics, analyze performance, and identify improvement opportunities

• Maintain accurate reporting on recycling streams and diversion outcomes

• Respond to inbound waste service requests and ensure timely resolution

Operational Oversight

• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant laydown and staging areas

• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to support seamless operations

• Partner with site leadership to ensure teams are fully equipped for success

Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Office tools to track:

  • Waste diversion metrics

  • Operational requests

  • Inventory and supplies

• Prepare clear, concise reports for internal teams and clients

• Maintain accurate and organized program documentation

What You Bring

• Experience in sustainability programs, environmental services, waste management, EHS, or operations

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
