Job Summary

A growing construction organization is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead daily field operations for industrial facilities, infrastructure, commercial, concrete, civil, and related construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who can drive productivity, maintain safety and quality standards, and keep projects moving according to schedule.

The Field Superintendent will serve as the primary field leader on assigned projects, coordinating crews, subcontractors, vendors, inspections, materials, and jobsite activities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative construction environment with supportive leadership, strong project teams, and a focus on safety, accountability, quality workmanship, and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day construction field operations for assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, equipment, material deliveries, and field personnel to support project milestones.
- Develop and maintain short-term schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or field impacts.
- Conduct daily site inspections, safety meetings, quality checks, and field coordination meetings as needed.
- Ensure work is performed according to drawings, specifications, OSHA standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, inspection coordination, and communication with Project Managers and leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $95,000 to $150,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Phoenix, AZ.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily field operations for commercial, industrial, concrete, civil, or infrastructure construction projects.
- Lead subcontractor coordination, field crews, safety compliance, inspections, and quality control.
- Support project schedules, manpower planning, equipment coordination, and material delivery tracking.
- Communicate project updates, field challenges, and schedule impacts to Project Managers and leadership teams.

- 10+ years of construction field supervision experience required.
- Strong experience managing commercial, concrete, industrial, or civil construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, plans, and project documents.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, productivity tracking, and jobsite logistics.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction site safety practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
- Experience with construction management software preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- 10+ years of construction field leadership experience.
- Experience supervising industrial facilities or infrastructure construction projects.
- Background managing large-scale commercial, concrete, civil, or complex multi-trade projects.
- Familiarity with construction management platforms used for scheduling, reporting, documentation, and field coordination.
